Ingredients

1 cup dried elderberries

4 cups water

1 knob fresh ginger (1/3 tablespoon powder)

2 cinnamon sticks (1/3 tablespoon powder)

5-6 anise
-
1 tablespoon cloves

Instructions
​

Simmer all ingredients on low heat for 30 minutes until the liquid reduces by half
-
Mash the elderberries
-
Strain the mixture
-
Pour 1 cup into a jar
-
Add 1/2 cup raw honey
-
Pour the remainder into ice trays and freeze
​
Dosage
​
-
Adults: 1 tablespoon every hour
-
Kids: 1 tablespoon every 2 hours
