The liver does not hold or store toxins; it eliminates toxins. The detox helps eliminate fat, inflammation, and scar tissue. The more fat the liver has, the more inflammation and scar tissue it has which makes it diificult to elimate toxins. You can reduce the liver fat by 50% through a low-carb diet and intermittent fasting (e.g., kieto diet). It is the only organ that can completely regenerate itself. Abdominal fat (being over weight) is a good indicator that you have liver fat. Alcohol is one cause of a fatty liver. Fructose is another cause (table sugar, beet sugar, honey, fruits, fast foods, juices, foods with high fructose corn syrup, wine, frequent snacks). Certain smoothies and shakes help: (1) Blueberries 1 cup; frozen kale 2 handfuls; add water just above the kale and blueberries; blend for 45 seconds. (2) Kiefer 1-2 cups; blueberries 1 cup; you may have to add up to a half cup of water; blend for 30 seconds. Best drink: Put 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in a glass and squeeze a lemon (about 12 oz of water). Insulin resistence is at the heart of a fatty liver. Supplements: He sells a liver cleanse supplement. Best herbs: Milk thistle (anidote for snake poisoning, mushroom poisoning, tylenol, and many other poisons). Choline strips fats off of the liver. Turmeric is an antioxidant that reduces liver inflammation. Bio salts help the flow of bile. Probiotics are really good. Vitamin E (tocotrienel) is 50x stronger for an inflamed liver (hepatitis) and it can inhibit fibrosis.
