Butter Noodles

Prep Time: 2 minutes
Cook Time:  22 minutes

Love the taste!

Ingredients:

1 lb. package Noodles (linguine)

3 tablespoons
Salt

1 tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1 cup Butter

1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese

1 teaspoon Garlic Powder

2 tablespoons Soy Sauce

3 teaspoons Lemon Juice

Cooking Instructions:

1.  Bring a pot of water to boil.

2.  When the water starts to boil: Add olive oil and salt.

3.  Add noodles (I break the noodles in half so they fit easily into the pot).

4.  Boil the noodles for about 12 minutes. The water should look very starchy.

5.  Stir occasionally so the noodles don't stick to the bottom of the pot.

6.  Drain the noodles.

7.  Return the noodles to the cooking pot.

8.  Add the butter. Mix thoroughly.

9.  Add the parmesan cheese. Mix thoroughly.

10. Add the garlic powder.

11. Add the soy sauce.

12. Add the lemon juice.

13. Mix thoroughly.

14. Serve and enjoy!

Notes:

1.  You can add more butter and/or parmesan cheese to your plate based on your taste preference.

2.  When the pot of water is warm but not boiling: Apply a ring of butter on the inside of the pot (about 1-2 inches down from the top). This should prevent the water from boiling over.

3.  When reheating leftovers, if it is somewhat dry you may have to add butter, milk, or extra virgin olive oil.
